I always thought ACC was the carpet supplier for most retailers,
used their stuff more than once and was always satisfied.

While this is not definitive proof of the assumption it certainly lends 
credence to the fact that there is lurking somewhere a large 
manufacturer that supplies many of the vendors selling carpet.
