I noticed the same thing at the Music City Mopar show/swap meet a couple of weeks ago. Attendance was way down, vendors weren't selling much, and cars weren't selling either. Fuel prices/availability and less discretionary income must be the reasons.

Subject: car values

i was at a swap this weekend and thought it
interesting that prices were really reflective of the
cars "worth"

there was a 70 roadrunner 383/auto, turnkey for 5000,
a 68 dodge half truck/van (not sure what those were
called)
you know the "little red wagon"
anyway it was in very nice shape with a spare slant
six for 4500,
and the kicker was a mint 71 elcamino for 6000.

you guys in california may be used to that but all
were unusually low for the midwest.

not so good if your selling but it seems like things
are coming back to earth, maybe gas prices are
starting to matter?
