This is a little off the subject but my '63 has the buckets w/o console. 
 It had the original carpet when I bought it with no sign that a console 
was ever there.  I've watched ebay religiously since I bought it and 
I've only seen one '63 console offered in over a year.  And it was a 
pathetic shell that ended up selling for @ $300.  Does anyone on the 
list have any ideas about where a guy might find an original.  I assume 
they aren't being repopped as I've never seen them anywhere.  My 
alternate plan is to scavenge the junk yards to find something out of a 
late model that I could modify to fit.  The plus side of that is that it 
would come w/ cup holders!
