to answer your question, the Green bearings perform equally with
SG's and open diffs,,  on a street driven car, they will eventually
fail, its just a matter of if you drive your car a lot or not.

there is no better bearing  for any street driver 8-3/4' mopar
than the original cone & rollers wheel bearing.  The Green bearings,
dispite all the words that places like Randy's Ring and Pinion will wrap
around these bearing,  are simply ill-suited for the street.  

I'm not sure what the draw is to the Green bearings... the adjustment 
procedure is not too difficult.. and once it is done,, its done. 

going to Green bearings isn't a maintenance saver the way 
mechanical to solid state ignition might be...  

The only type car the Green bearings are suited to is a drag car.
