Re: Refinishing a '64 Fury, Sport Fury ribbed alum. glove box door

On my '63 Plymouth, all my ribbed aluminum was dinged and scratched. In trying to have them removed, I ended up having it smoothed out taking the ribs out as the metal was too thin.

I have an undented door with light scratches and pitting (salt?).

Do the aluminum trim vendors redo these doors?

Have you had yours redone? How did it turn out?

Thanks,
