lean 318

I'm rebuilding a Super Six carb, a two-barrel Carter BBD, to replace the 
original 318 two-barrel BBD on my 318.  Do you think this will be too 
lean a carb?  If so, can I swap the jets from the old V8 carb into the 
/6 carb?
