RE: Clock repair questions

Seems I recall that someone here once reported that they went to a hobby 
shop and bought one of those DIY clock mechanisms -- the kind that holds 
a AA battery & fit behind a clock found in the home. They installed that 
AA battery run unit behind the clock in their car and it worked fine. 
Every 4 to 6 months they put in a new AA battery.
