Good to see you on the board, Earl.

I did something a bit unconventional, I suppose.  I setup my rear 
without welding the perches, then I got everything aligned the way I 
wanted it, removed the tires and lower shock bolts, and welded those 
dogs to the big fatty strange tubes right on the car.

Seemed like a no-fuss way to go about it, as long as you can reach in 
with the gun ... and not burn anything up in the process ...
