RE: apology and another question

You could cut out one that is in the car and leave a 2 or 3" lip and trim a second one to fit over the lip. That way the bolts would be further away from the glass. Just one idea

OK, I have calmed down, i need to learn to walk away from fights
    I have a question for u guys
regarding the dash board in mopars,
I dont like the way u cant get at the dashboard mounting
bolts without popping the windshield. Has anybody ever
tried to mount a dashboard by screwing up from the bottom
instead so that in the future event of a possible disaster
of some type one wouldnt need to pop the windshield out to
remove dash??? it would rewuire some doing i know, but
              those windshield rubbers are spendy
