RE: moving a car with no rear axle



 I have done this Neal.Does "the car" have the rear
leaf springs still in it??? The one I moved did. I
lifted the rear with a high lift jack with a
chain,blocked the body up,then rolled a B body 8 3/4
under it. I installed hose clamps around the axle and
leaf springs.I put the axle UNDER the springs to make
it easier. The whole thing went off without a hitch.
If you have no leaf springs, you may have to throw
some under it.
