I always used a mid seventy's big block Dodge pick-up upper radiator hose on my 63 Savoy with 440 and also on my 65 Satellite with a 440. Good luck, Gary Bradshaw Ft. Worth, Texas ----- Original Message ----- From: <HoustonDB@xxxxxxx>

Well, I won't be much help here, but I can offer up a couple of tips. The upper tank on a poly radiator has the nipple in the center. On bigblock radiators, it's off to the passenger side. I'd probably try the poly upperhose (it's just an "L" shaped hose) and see if that works better for you. And maybe try a poly lower hose too? I honestly don't know if there is a difference in the lower tanks. With the Corbin clamps, it can be difficult to get a good seal sometimes. In the past, I've put the Corbin clamp on, and then put a regular screw clamp on right behind it. Drive it a week or two like that, and then try removingthe screw clamp. It's worked everytime for me. Be careful how much youtighten the screw clamp though. Too tight, and there will be an imprint on thehose when you take it off.
