try torqueing the torque converter bolts / had a dodge van that vibrated so severely it was scary /i tightened one loose bolt and problem was solved

Hi BenAs far as I recall, only while driving on the road. And not all the time then,either. When we fitted those 15" steels a few weeks ago, we went out for a blastto see if that helped with the vibrations. We noticed that if you graduallybuild up speed slowly, the vibrations are less and come in around 3000rpm, but if you stomp on it, the vibrations come in a little earlier (2500)and are A LOT more noticeable, to the point of thinking something's gonna fall off! Could it be anything in the trans or ? That's something elsewe've had to have rebuilt since buying the car as they were duff too. Normallywould trust the guy that did the trans work, but you never know?
