Carb choice.

I would do your first run with what you have right now and then i am voting for the 870 avenger. (In fact i have one in the trunk of my 63 right now and want to do it for spring. ) BTW if you are serious racing  these engines/cars are in love with 4;30 gears and 30 inch slicks. It seems to be their sweet spot.
