Well, I am torn between keeping it lower to get longevity versus more 
performance.  

The Hughes hyd. roller cam's range is listed at 2800-6800.  The Eddy heads 
were modified, including installing Hughes double valve springs to handle the 
high cylinder pressures (over 200).  The rest of the valvetrain is stout, Manley 
pushrods with Comp ProMagnum roller rockers, so I guess I could go to 6500 
safely when racing.
