RE: Suddenly there is SPAM !

In the last month or so it seems as though the volume of spam that's 
making it past my filter has gone up quite a bit.  For the past several 
years the yahoo spam filter has worked great.  I typically get 50-60 
messages a day diverted to my "bulk" folder.  But as you say lately a 
lot of stuff is getting by.  The stock ones are of the "pump and dump" 
variety.  People try to hype some penny stock they're holdong in hopes 
they can get some interest in it and get it moving up so they can then 
dump their holdings.
I always report them as spam in hopes that they will be able to start 
getting it blocked but so far no luck.
