Re: trying again, 8,.75 shock plates

7.25 shocks plates will not fit unless you squeeze the u bolts together enought to slip into the shock plate. Wouldn't recommend it. No repops on 8.75 shock plates that I'm aware of. Shock plates from just about any passenger car 8.25, 8.75, 9.25 and Dana will work. Your original 67 Barracuda springs will work just fine. Never saw your original post either.

Subject: trying again, 8,.75 shock plates

dang it, I posted this a few days ago and it never surfaced, I will try
again.
time to yank the 7.25 from my cuda ( 1967 , sorry, off topic)
I have an 8.75 but no shock plates and springs.
Would the 7.25 shock plates fit?? PROBABLY NOT, huh??
If not, does somebody re-pop 8.75 shock plates ??
Or what about shock plates from an old tapered axle B-body 8.75??
Or is there a specific A-BODY shock plate??
and now What of springs?? the old 7.25 setup leafs wont work will
    they??
thanks in advance, sorry for the off topic
