RE: off topic fin car question

Going by the rust bucket 55 Plymouth I just bought, rockers, floor boards and 1/4 panels were the worst. I thing that the 58 with accept A/B body disc brakes though. Something my 55 will not. Ebay has a good deal of parts, steele should carry rubber.

I am going to ,look at a '58 plymnouth savoy 2 door tomorrow, a guy
here in town is selling. He claims it has 24,000 miles and is very
solid. he wants 2500 for it. It is a somewhat disassembled project car
that he hasnt touched in years, and wants it out of the garage. he says
the interior is pretty tore up and it needs the front and rear glass put
back in ( new rubbers)
he says it still runs and drives with a flathead six, and the title
    is good.
It sounds too good to be true and i am approaching with caution.
    My quaestions are:
     1) Where are the problem areas to look for rust on these early
cars?? though he says it solid and has been inside it whole life i
     am skeptical.
     2) Who carries stuff for these early cars so i can research the
     cost of stuff.
thanks much and apologies for off -topic ramblings
