Welding upside-down

Some really good advise from all. I have been Hotrodding a '49 Packard and been doing alot of welding and learned a very good lesson. One thing is I always have many good fire extingishers all over the shop and one on the side of my tool box for easy access. But a simple, handy item is a plastic bottle like a used shampoo bottle. If you can find one that has a tube that goes to the bottom of the bottle just fill with water and squeese to spray water on the small flame that will start. I got the Packard rubber body mount burning and that fire extingisher 10 feet away was WAY to far away!!!!! I like to practice on some scrap until I get used to what I am doing then, do the car. Also I just bought an A body '65 Dart with HP 273 auto. My plan is to do the Moparmax magazine Altered wheelbase car. I have a mild 440, 721 auto and a straight axle set aside for the project. I have to drive to Pocatello,Idaho to pick-up the car. Ter409

This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
