vapour lock and stupid running on modern fuels

We use a heat c shield between the fuel pump and the blcok . it cures it. have used it on several cars. took a while to figure out that was the problem area. new gas has no vapour lock additives since with EFi the fuel line is pressurized. (Pressure raises the boiling point of any fluid (that is BTW why you have a pressure cap on you rad too) With a pressureized line vapour lock doesnt take place. that is why the eectric pump cures it as well but the fuel pump heat shield works well and is cheap to make. "Cheap" and "works" are my two favurite words!
