Sean, I will have to dis-agree with my learned friend. First let me say I hate flex fans. At low speed, they might scoop more air, but at high speeds they flatten out and don't flow as much air. In fact I have seen them effect high speed flow adversely. The best combo IMO is the good old Mopar 7 blade air conditioner fan on a thermo clutch. Nothing sucks as much air as a stock Mopar 7 blade air conditioner fan at low speeds. My truck has a special shroud I build with a long tunnel and a 7 blade fan and direct drive. If your in front of the truck and I rev it to 3 grand, it will suck you into the grill. Just kidding, but almost.
