Re: Pushbutton trans ?

I suggest you contact Steve Charette at Imperial Services. I think he was working on a shifter adapter kit to do just what you want.

Subject: Pushbutton trans ?

Hi gang Has anyone here used a later trans with pushbutton controls and if so how was the head unit altered. I am looking at using a later aod trans behind my /6. I know i will have some issues with bolting it together but that can be resolved.

How is it shifted by using the park lever or do the buttons still work.
Any info would help/or pics of installation.
I have already changed a /6 to v6/aod and it works just great in 70 a body.
Thanks Doug B. ont. can.
