Sorry to hear! I posted here recently about a similar experience that a buddy of mine just had trying to buy a later 60's A body. Sometimes you can ask here and someone who reads the mail at the 62-65 Mail List Clubhouse is close enough to the car and will go look at the car for you before you drive. Worthwhile to ask here anyway, I guess, as it can't hurt. :) You also can check to see if there is a local Mopar club near where the advertised car is.
