RE: Button safety? Racers?



Sorry it's a little bit before my time, but I will be running the push button tranny in my car and was concerned about this.  I was going to fab one using a piece of box aluminum cut to make the channel.  To attach it, I figured to make of hinge of sorts that goes at the top of the buttom, but below the lip of the dash.  That way it would flip up to access the PNR.  Like the red cover over a toggle switch on say a missle launcer. :-)
