The really cool thing that Art Carr came up with was not the 
push button mod he did, but the ClutchFlight trans he made. 
Torqueflight with a clutch. Now, this is going to spin a few 
younger folks out. Worked good in the day since torque converters 
were not what they are today. It was great for street racing. Of 
course we did not understand torque multimation that well then.

Yeah, Art Carr was the primo torqueflight dude. He has a funny looking
little pedestal that sits on the floor and houses the buttons. Art Carr is
still around, at least the company, but I don't know if they have the stands
anymore. Although I did see one a few years ago at cruise night on a bad
Plymouth.
