I like the idea of an 8 gauge wire.  The fusible link is always four 
gauges up in number from the wire it is protecting.  Thus, for an 8 
gauge wire you would use a 12 gauge fusible link.  This will look small, 
but it is proper.




what size of fusable link should I consider.
