Max Wedge for the Street

I need some opinions from the board members on how a max wedge engine 
"behaves" on the street.  What I mean is, should a person build a 
properly tuned 440 with max wedge heads and max wedge cross ram, will 
the motor be a hand full on the street.  This could mean low speed 
driveability, starting etc.
