I once had a tank, that was very rusty, re-galvanized. It was cleaned and 
then dippped into a vat of hot galvanizing metal. It was like new when they 
were done. The shop was in Portland Oregon but I would think there should be 
other Galvanizing shops around. The tank was off a 1915 Buick. Ter409
