Push button adjustment

Clear DayHi all, I just finished connecting my pushbutton cable , and I 
thought I followed  the instructions, that I copied off this web site. but 
something is wrong. I have reverse, first , second, but the drive button 
does not go in. In fact when I push the second button, it shifts all the way 
up into drive. Does the wheel just need to be adjusted a little or should I 
take out and start over again? Any ideas??
