GTO??????????

The GTO was the first muscle car? Bull. Like the old Wendys commercial Where's the B______?!
Muscle car? What muscle "Where's the muscle!?" Darn things wouldn't pull the skin off a grape. Enuf already.
Back in the day when a GTO pulled to the line we went for hotdogs and a coke. Seemed like we could be back to our seat before they finished their run. zzzz, zzzzzzzzzz, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
If an approx '3300 pound car with aluminum front end and a 13.5 to one engine with 2 fours on a crossram and cast headers Like MAX WEDE 63/64 Mopar isnt a muscle car something is wrong with the yard stick. I have had the conversation in person with GTO owners too. They get pretty quiet when you open the hood on a Max Wedge . They dont park near me any morea cruise nights but hide in their corner like a bunch of Beagles at a Rottweiler convention.
I know GM invented everything, i hear it all the time. If we had left it to them we would still have wooden body frames , mechanical brakes , cast iron pistons , generators and splash oiling. They used to be called stovebolts because that is how they were made it seemed. They even had to bring in Russian guy to show them how to make an engine. I believe his name was Zora Duntov. Dont get me going. I love this stuff and i havent even started yet.
When I hear all the claims from the GM folks i think of an joke that appeared in a magazine once.(Mechanix Illustrated) It said the USA found a wire connected between two trees atttached to a a battery with a key on both ends and claimed the invention of the telegraph . The Russians searched and searched and couldnt find any wires so they claim the invention of the Wireless or radio. So it is with the Gm crowd. The lack of evidence does not concern them. Couse you have to forgive them. they are obviously cerebally handicapped or they would be driving that stuff. :>)))))))))))))
