We have owned our 65 Coronet for 1year now and have put 3,000 miles on it. When I got it I changed the oil after the 1st 500 miles and then climbed under it today for a 2.5K interval change. Much to my dismay, the supposedly tight front end that was "aligned just before purchase" has eaten the $H!T out of the inside of both front tires. The tires have a total of 5,000 miles on them and they are trashed!!! I know I can't go back on the guy for anything, but I'm still tempted to let him know what I think of his companies mechanical repair abilities. Since guy runs a restoration shop in West Chester, PA I would think he or his employees would do better work than this. Sorry...thanks for letting me vent. It just really burns me when people do crap like this. BTW...there have been not been any signs of any front end issues by the way the car drives. Signed...frustrated!
