What's important to emphasize here before the Chevy guys get on their high 
horse is that Chrysler's fuel injection was electronic, while Chevrolet's 
was mechanical.

The Bendix Electrojector could be had on the 350, 361, and 392 Hemi engines 
for 1958. When it was recalled, the dealers swapped out the system for dual 
quads, which were supposed to make 10 fewer h.p. than the EFI, albiet much 
more reliably.

There are pictures out there of a fully restored '58 DeSoto convertible with 
the EFI system on it. That's probably the only complete system still out 
there unless there's more hidden in barns.
