The popular & growing 'Hot Rod Drags' was held a couple of weekends ago 
at a drag strip near Stratford-upon-Avon (hence its name 'Shakespeare 
County Raceway').

Good mix of hot rods, rat rods, muscle & all sorts - anything pre-73.

A few 62-65's (inc our Polara) but not as many as there could be. Maybe 
I just missed a few.

Sorry about the odd GM & Ford... and lack of racing pics. My little 
digital cant cope with zooming that far.

Maxie performed well on the 2hr country-lane & motorway journey, 
suprisingly giving about 8-9 mpg as far as I can work out. Hopefully 
next year we'll take her up the strip so we'll see that figure drop a 
bit!
