do u think a diesel would fit in a c-body??

I admit i have been a little taken with this diesel truck drag
magazine, been reading it a little bit and am itching to build a
diesel drag CAR .
Do u think u could fit a diesel into a c-body? That would still be
at least 1500 pounds lighter than most of these trucks.
