Fall Fling Pics

Hi all. If you paste this web address into your browser, you should see over
100 pictures I took at the 2007 Fall Fling in Van Nuys, CA, over the
weekend. Suggest you select "slide show"

It was interesting that Jay Leno is a regular at this show and showed up in
a HUGE aluminum? roadster, so took a few pics of him. I didn't bother him,
figure he needs some privacy, but he was very gracious about signing
autographs for kids especially.

I met two people in person through this forum that I got to visit with over
the weekend, which is better to me than going to the show.

We met Ron and Denise in Brea and got to oogle his 63 and 64 Sport Furys,
along with a very nice dinner. Great people and a credit to the Mopar
community. He's putting both cars up for sale, so if you are in the market,
I can forward you his email address (or if he reads this, he can do that as
well).

I'd also like to thank Joe in the Palm Springs area for showing me his
restoration cars, some of which are used in movies and music videos. He also
introduced me to his son, Sean, an avid Mopar enthusiast who knows people
here in the Puget Sound area that I meet with monthly at our Mopars
Unlimited club. I have pics of some of their cars on my cell phone but may
not post them, as the quality is not that good.

This was a one day event. As I understand it, Spring Fling is a two day,
judged show, so we may go back for that one as well. Depends on how
depressed I am from sitting in the rain all winter.

Thank God for my GPS,,,,,, or we'd still be driving around the freeways in
L.A.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
