Re: Max Wedge, Hemi car serial #'s

Jim Schield is extremely knowledgable and super nice guy who will work at lenght to help anyone restoring these cars. Also Bill at Special T's has the correct air cleaner decals with correct part number for these cars.

Darrell is a great guy as I have talked with him over the internet and he was more then pleased to help me. I really enjoy talking with him as he has awesome knowledge on our 62-65 Mopars and he worked alot of years for Ma Mopar. I myself bought the 63 and 64 Plymouth books and I love all the info they have. My 63 Sport Fury is not a real Max Wedge car as it was a 383 car but I had to have all the info I could on the Max Wedge cars as I love them. I was shocked to know they built 1196 Max Wedge Plymouth cars. And I think they built close to the asme amout of Dodge's. I know he has done the 62 to 65 books on Plymout and Dodge. Another good book to buy is called Maxium Performance by Jim Schield. Its all about the 60's Mopar factory race cars and has alot about the 62 to 65's.
