Spring car project

The weather is looking much better, thank goodness. I
have been gathering some more "goodies" for this years
upgrades and problem solving. I know my ignition has
been laying down on me 'cause I haven't done the Don D
mods yet. Also per Don D I don't think my secondaries
are opening properly. So I will get with these
upgrades asap. I e-mailed Edelbrock and they sent me
the info on how to properly reduce the secondary
weights for faster and complete opening. I will remove
my carbs pretty soon and take care of that issue. I
know Paul Lenneman is planning on doing the dist. mod
this Spring before he gets his motor reinstalled. In
addition to Don's mods I was reading an article in
Mopar Action by Rick "E-booger" on the same dist mod
that mentioned some MSD spark power towers. I have
them also. I do notice that the plug wires are prone
to loosen on the dist cap and this is supposed to be
the cure. Not too pricey, about $45 for all 9, coil
wire too.

Anyway I'm anxious to get started again. I want to get
back to the track and improve things a bunch!
