Todd,
A really good starting point would be to sell me the car and I'll
come and get it and then sell it back to you when I'm finish with it,
lol.
Without some mechanical ability, then this could turn into a hard
job. Do you have ohm meter or some other device to read the current?
A better thing to start with is to check where the negative cable
attaches to the motor and detach it, clean it and the place it
attaches too and then re-attach it and the post(s) on the battery.
There are to many things that could be causing the problem.
