Mark as the former owner of a 66 Coronet convert and a 66 Charger I'm familiar with the names of the colors Mopar used in 66. The Coronet was Bronze metallic and your right it looked more like gold than bronze. Now the Charger was Citron Gold and it looked more like green than gold. My only guess is that the guy who named the 66 colors was slightly color blind. LOL

American built.general consensus seems to be bronze metallic, which sounds right to me. it looks more like a gold on the car but that may be due to fading over the last 40 years.Mark
