Re: Dual Quads on a 273????????

A '65 HiPo motor with a big cam (the heads used then required a 273 specific intake whereas others use normal LA (318/340) intakes). Also keep in mind that the carbs don't have to be big. Just because you have a dual quad intake doesn't mean you have 1600 CFM of carburetion.

Subject: Dual Quads on a 273????????

I just saw an Offy dual-quad intake manifold made for a 273 engine on a website.

I know there is such a thing as too much carb for a given engine, so WHAT kind of a 273 would be appropriate for dual four barrel carbs?

thanks,
Jim Ozolins - '64 Valiant Signet with one lone 2-barrel carb.
