My friend G wager runs a 904 behind a 426 stroker in his rear engine dragster. He useed a Ultra bell to convert it and espite the high ower he has been feeding it it has not let him down, I was surprised. Engine s producing approx 650 HP and the car is a heavy old double Aa fuel car. So a decent 904 should be able to suvive a 273.  Garys has no mega buck parts in it, Just a few kittle tricks wedo to ake them live.  It has a trans brake and a 5500 converter
