Don. I have a late 265 rebuilder sitting complete in my shed -if you want one you can have it. It owes me nothing now anyway - is virgin bore but has a bit of lip and a small mark on #6 so will need a bore. Talk here is that OzHemi isn't importing anymore but I know a few guys who do so I can make some enquiries. With the right work the humble 265 is a LOT of fun. Bore them 40 thou and fit 318 pistons, or it you want a real animal prep for a four inch bore (usually 327 *cough* chev pistons). The Webers make an incredible difference and they are a really easy engine to get moving - a lot of fun in the right car and I believe the quickest 6 cylinder on this planet. Steve Nappy, www.Hemi6pack.com If you build it they will come........and they'll probably want free beer and peanuts! -----Original Message----- From: Don Dulmage [mailto:big-d@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, 18 April 2008 9:24 PM To: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Aussie 6 Re te Aussie Hp sixpack RT. I wish with all my heart I had one of those here for my senior dragster project. Always hoped to find a baffed out one in Aus and have it shipped here. So far no luck. Even the 265 HPor 245 HP would be a start.
