vinyl tops

Well my engine compartment is now all 64 dodge red. Wow!
The body will be red also but I am wondering one thing.
Were vinyl tops a factory option back in 64 and if so who sells them?

I had an all red 64 500 but due to circumstances that could have been 
easily avoided (Big Tree In Ditch) it later had a black vinyl top which 
i always liked and seemed to break up the all red body.

Any pros and cons on vinyl tops?
