Thanks for the education. Your hands on explanation sure does make sence
to swap the thrust block instead of shortening the axle. I've never
taken apart a rear end and this was my first swap out. I only wanted to
help Marcus with info that I learned here.
I'm going to do this swap again in my other '63, 741 non-SG to 742 SG. I
contacted Randy's and was told to remove the "Button" that the axle
butts up to and I'll have no problem using my axle's. I have a diagram
I'd like to show and ask you a question about. Would you contact me off
line.
