Hey there, I agree they are a Love/Hate thing..And I have always dug em..I have been looking for a 62 for a few years and actually gave up,until this one crossed my path... The old man did restore it at one time in the 80's/early 90's..When he passed away the 361 in there was knockin badly and he had a built up 383 ready to install,but that Mysteriously ended up missing shortly after his passing...The Grandson and daughter had a family friend build a fresh 383 about two years ago and the engine has hardly any miles on it.The car originally was "Shell Beige" but he had it painted The two tone colors you see now..the clear coat has peeled badly on the hood.But he must have had the car stripped of all the chrome and trim when he had it done,they did the jams,engine compartment,trunk,etc....
