I don't know if In-Line is the "best" -- but I suspect one place manufactures these sending units and many places distribute them. Kramer sell them I bet, for example.

NOS hoses will show up occasionally but it is 40+ year old rubber, even if NOS, so will you trust it. <bad joke NOT included here> ;) 

Hoses for a 1963 383 Polara? Rock Auro still lists molded radiator horses as available, though I don't know if they "really" are in stock.
