Productivity may have improved, however it appears that Dodge & Chrysler 
new car quality needs more improvement to catch up to Toyota.  Today 
there's an article on MSN concerning JD Powers and Assoc. annual ranking 
of initial vehicle quality.  It shows the number of problems reported 
per 100 new cars.  Toyota came in at #4 with 104 problens per 100 cars, 
while Dodge came in at #28 with 141 problems, and Chrysler came in at 
#29 with 142 problems.   Quite a difference in the quality of the cars 
produced by the 2 companies.
