Re: Corn? We don't need no stinking corn!

It takes more energy to make ethonal etc etc is a myth propegated by the uniformed. The highest energy use is our us CanadiansOil sands oil. by far. You have to scope it truck it di ump , wash it heat it filter it cook it and truck it. you have to get rid of the waste more trucking. Rcover the lan. Pump it then refine it then truck it to hungry cars in the USA. Ethonal is not even oin the ball game. You grow it combine it truck it cook it and wait for it to ferment. Then you pur it in acar and drive away. No ethonal can be made even easier with enzemes prodcess and even the waste greeen can now be used to make it. It should be the fuel of the futre but osome mssinfo ispreventing it and you are helping perpetrate that with more mis info. Dont you realize the news media are not technical people but just liberal parrots.Wouldnt know a BTU from an SUV, none of them. And hwow about middle east oil./ Drill for it pi ump and ship it from the iddle east to north America. for refinement , Even if the refinerey was at the docks it is still a huge amount of energy used just to get it here. it doensnt come by sailng ship. That wuld make a few million litres of ethonal and that oil isnt even refined yet so the amount a gasoline in every oil tanker that is available for recovery bu refining is a very small percentage ofthe whole load whule ALL the ethonal is usable. Just a few thing to think about. Comparing a barrel of Crude oil to a barrel of ethonal is foolishness. Ethnal is ready to use. Cri ude oil is not.
come on guys , use your head a woodpecker does!

What do you guys (and gals) think of this...

"Check the websites below.

You must watch this a few times. If it's true, every country in the
world will be able to develop this concept and OPEC will beg us to use
oil.

Why are we not making this a nation priority, instead of ethanol from
corn. It takes more energy than we get out of corn to make ethanol.
In January of this year, at a meeting of the Engineers Club of Sun
City, Arizona, A.P.S. (the local power company) gave a presentation in
which they explained their plans to build such a plant south of
Phoenix, below Gila Bend. They were very upbeat about it's
possibilities. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel!-----

Take a look at these videos and pay particular attention to the very
last statement made by the spokesman.
