Unfortunately I'm one of the few people that managed to kill a slant six. I
managed to spin #1 bearing in my 78 Dodge D-150 short bed driving it home
form Ohio right after I bought it. I considered putting a V8 in it but when
gas went over 3 bucks a gallon I decided to build a new slanty for it and
I've never regretted the decision. It now has a Super Six 2 bbl. with
hydraulic lifters and Dutra Duals with Smithy glass packs. It sounds great
and gets more attention at shows then the Charger Hemi I used to own. It
also pulls my Scotty camper without a problem.

Personally my favorite mag is Mopar Collector Guide. They always cover the
Slant Six racing series. You gonna get in on that Don?

Dan
