Yes sir, more or less. there is a plastic plate assy in there with a pivot,
contacts and wires. the cam is attached to the signal arm and pivots on the
plate. What you are decribing is consistent with the cam collapsing.

Thanks, yes I know David. -- Is the cam the plastic piece the turn signal
arm attaches to? Apparently the person lifted the turn signal arm and
something inside broke.

If you are talking about the turn signal cam - the part that wears out -
the
source is David Koldos, 847-888-2652. He works at a plastic plant and
makes
these on the side. they fit all '62 - '66 A,B,C cars.

Someone was asking me if the plastic part that the wires and turn signal
arm are connected to on a 1965 Valiant is available repro? Or is it the
same as later 60's - early 70's A bodies or other Mopars & availability?
