push button shifter interchange

Hi,

I'm trying to locate a pushbutton shifter for the restoration of my '62 Dart and need to know if the shifters for slant six, 318 poly and big block engines are interchangeable.  I can't see why they wouldn't be but I am not sure.  Does anyone out there know for sure? 

Also, if anyone has such a shifter and/or its accompanying buttons/dash bezel for sale, I would be very grateful for a note.
